Profile & History

“The difference between good and great is “want”, you have to “want” to be great at what you are doing to be the best!  Our clients will only want HGI back because we are consistently great at what you do!”

The Hanlon-Perkins Group, Inc. (HPGI) was incorporated in February 2002.  In April 2005 the Hanlon-Perkins Group, Inc. was renamed the Hanlon Group, Inc. (HGI) and registered with the State of Washington, Department of Licensing as an engineering corporation.  HGI focused on project management, construction management, cost engineering (project controls, estimating scheduling, cost analysis, change control, value improvement, and construction claims support), quality control, IT consulting, and human resource and outplacement support services.  As such, HGI provided cost engineering services in eastern Washington and Idaho to British Nuclear Fuels Ltd (BNFL), Bechtel Nation Inc. (BNI), CH2M-Hill Hanford Group, and Puget Sound Energy (PSE).

The addition of an architectural designer allowed HGI to start working with investors in 2006 to develop the first wine and food resort in Prosser, Washington.  The 26 acre project located along the scenic Yakima River included twenty-five boutique wineries accompanied by a five star 210 room hotel facility, convention center, regional wine interpretive center, five star restaurants, and central 4,000 seat amphitheater.  HGI has recently been invited to prepare development packages on several smaller townhome development in the cities of Prosser and Grandview, Washington as a result of the downturn in the economy, changing bank loan practices and the lack of available lease properties regionally.

The current primary focus for HGI is that of securing general service contracts with regional power utilities, cities, and support to the Department of Energy Hanford site in eastern Washington, and at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEEL) at Idaho Falls, Idaho.  HGI is seeking opportunities to provide engineering services in the following fields:
